Design led Elica kitchens, living rooms inspired by Jane Churchill textiles and bedrooms finished with Kilcroney and John O'Connell furniture. Commercial work includes offices, restaurants, beauty clinics and show houses. Textiles range from rooms draped in Harlequin Dupion silks and Colefax and Fowler curtains to walls festooned with Zoffany wallpapers and Farrow & Ball paints, as well as bespoke Irish feather pillows by RK Designs.

Complete interior fit out of a beautiful summer house on the coast at Liscannor, Co. Clare for clients based in America. This project involves kitchen, bathrooms and all living and bedrooms in a comfortable, casual style with a contemporary European inflection. Liscannor stone is used extensively in this property and the design brief is to highlight the beauty of this natural resource and create warmth with the furniture and decorative fabrics and colour choices.

Greystones, Co. Wicklow
This property was to be completely remodelled and required a full residential interior design consultation. With the use of paint firm Farrow & Ball for walls and woodwork, Balterio flooring, Italian porcelain and glass mosaic together with luxurious fabrics we created a classic yet contemporary style for this interior. Bedroom designs completed the work on this project with the use of Dupion silks and brocade to create a contrast of textiles.

This very unique property has a 360 degree panorama of the Dublin skyscape. As the property looks directly out to Dublin bay we used reflective materials to bring these images into the property itself. The brief was urban chic, achieved by a mix of space remodelling, interior design and project management. The reconfiguration of living accommodation to fit an 8 setting Julian Chichester walnut table and a 2m by 1.8m stone island countertop opened up the space. Custom made furniture by firms such as John O'Connell furniture, bespoke rugs from Rugs by Design and beautifully finished handmade wooden pieces by Ritigan and Hick created a uniquely Irish penthouse interior for our wonderful American clients. The bathrooms were fitted out with underfloor heating, bespoke cabinetry and a use of glass and black porcelain to achieve a relaxing spa style interior.

American president Ronald Reagan used to holiday in Waterville and the attraction of this part of Ireland is clear when you travel through the beautiful landscape. Our brief for this project was classic old school glamour with a utilitarian edge. Featured in House and Home magazine, this residential interior design and project management commission included a range of designer and high end materials such as fabrics from Colefax and Fowler, Ralph Lauren and Nobilis Meridian. Bespoke cabinetry throughout coupled with beautiful French pieces from Kilcroney furniture and Eden Home and Garden created a fine luxurious interior with attention to detail a high priority. Every detail of this property, from the hand finished paintwork on the kitchen cabinets to the level of feathers in the bespoke Irish pillows, was created and managed by RK Designs.

Interior design plans and project management for a 4 bedroom house in Dublin 18. Produced schemes and sources for kitchen, living, dining, bedrooms and bathrooms with reconfiguration of living and bedroom accommodation. The bedroom design was one of the highlights of this project as we designed and built a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room which included mirrored walls and an opaque glass doorway to optimise the natural light in this space. The idea with bedroom design is to optimise the concealed storage so the room maintains a sense of calm, and this was achieved with the use of lots of space saving tips and storage ideas.

Dundrum Wood, Dublin 14
After successfully completing two projects in Dundrum Wood we were delighted to receive a third commission on this same road. Again this project included project management of an extension and reconfiguration of the ground floor accommodation. The brief was to make the most of the light filled areas of the property and the style was to be contemporary with a classic edge. To achieve this we used solid oak flooring with an oak and painted kitchen. Fabrics from Jane Churchill and Nina Campbell were used to introduce subtle colour and this, combined with details such as the Carlisle Brass door handles and kitchen cabinetry, excellently fulfilled our clients' brief.

As work was being completed on our first commission in Dundrum Wood our client's next door neighbour requested a consultation, which led to a full refurbishment project including project management of an extension and reconfiguration of ground floor accommodation. The brief for this commission was a cosy and classic style with lots of clever space saving tips and good use of colour. We used firms such as Farrow & Ball, Junckers hardwood flooring and a wonderful design led kitchen company called Elica to create a warm and inviting home.

Full refurbishment of a house in Dublin 14. The project included project management of an extension and reconfiguration of ground floor and second level accommodation. Complete interior design of the kitchen using gloss units and a bespoke glass splashback with quartz countertops to achieve a luxurious and contemporary style. Custom designed sofas using Today Interiors fabrics and Jab Maharadscha silks combined with a Kal Fire inset gas fire created a chic and contemporary open plan layout.

An eclectic mix of contemporary and more classic styles using Farrow & Ball paints and wallpapers, custom designed kitchen and furniture and intelligent use of lighting. Finally the house was skilfully accessorised to complement the fresh and modern scheme.

This included reconfiguring the space by removing walls between the living room and kitchen and changing the shape of the hallway and bathroom. The fireplace was replaced with a contemporary gas model and underfloor heating fitted to all living areas.

Full refurbishment of a 4 bedroom house in Malahide including a new ensuite bathroom, fully built-in utility room, flooring and carpets, and all curtains and soft furnishings. A colour scheme of aqua, cream and blue was used throughout the project to ensure a flow through the property. Fireplaces were all replaced and an unnecessary door was blocked and plastered in the living room to increase the useable living space.

Georgian style and sophistication was the brief for this beautiful members' room in the RDS. The colours in the V'Soske Joyce carpet are cream, mint and pale rose, and these were the colours that influenced the choices for the upholstery fabric on the chairs and sofas. Fabric houses of Kravet, Warwick, Kai and Delius were used in these schemes.

Wine box fronts, distressed metal and walnut veneers were used in this new Wines Direct shop to give warmth and character to the basement space in Arnotts department store. All commercial considerations were taken into account and the look achieved has resulted in a fantastic space to purchase the delicious wine selection.

Complete transformation of a retail unit in three weeks. The brief was an ultra glam and glitzy interior scheme. To achieve this we used glass and mirrored mosaic, Italian porcelain reflective tiles and a unique lighting plan. Silver and pink are Cedars' brand colours and we used exact Pantones in the wallpapers and paint effects to create a perfect salon experience.

The salon required a new suspended ceiling and the creation of partitions to separate the treatment rooms. We designed partitions with glass panels at ceiling level to increase light distribution. Using mirror and pieces of mirrored mosaic, a display area was designed to house all of the retail products.

Complete fit out of 100m² of retail space. Using mahogany finishes in the specifically designed shelving and Colourtrend Dining Room Red paint on the walls, the effect is warm yet contemporary. Panels to each side of the wine shelving were designed to house all of the information regarding the vintners, which are all specific to Wines Direct. Modern red Perspex lighting hangs from double height over the till, adding to the client's fresh modern approach.

The original restaurant was cold and dark with no soft furnishings. In order to attract lunch customers and reflect the new ownership, the colour scheme was changed using Farrow & Ball paints. A mirrored wall behind the bar and the use of soft furnishings in gold and burgundy tones created a sophisticated style.
